Big moments need the right room, and we make that part simple with our function hall at LNER Sports and Social Club. We welcome birthdays, anniversaries, wakes, celebrations of life, engagement parties and family gatherings in a space that can comfortably hold around 80 to 100 people. Your guests can use a private entrance, which helps everything feel a bit more relaxed from the moment people arrive.
We also have a fully equipped bar on site, with draught beer, bottled drinks, wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks ready for your event. If you want food alongside your booking, we can arrange varied options to suit the occasion and keep things easy for you.

Child-friendly surroundings and a pet-friendly approach can make a real difference when you don't want to leave anyone out. If you're planning entertainment, we can recommend DJs, photo booths and bouncy castles based on suppliers people already enjoy using here, with our gallery showing the space available for your event.
You're also free to organise your own catering and entertainment if you already have plans in place. As we're a licensed premises, any alcohol for your event must be purchased from our bar rather than brought in from outside. We also offer Saturday football sessions, giving local players a regular space to enjoy football in a friendly and welcoming setting.
